Financial Assistance
All RTA services are open to the general public. If you need assistance with your RTA fees, review the common funding information below or contact our office for information on how to access agencies that provide transportation reimbursement.
Medicaid
RTA is a certified Medicaid provider of transportation. If you receive Title 19, you may be eligible for the waiver program. For more information on Medicaid Brokerage contact a Transit Operations Manager.
Northeast Iowa Area Agency on Aging (NEIAAA)
If you are 60 years and older, you may be eligible for NEIAAA reduced fare passes. To determine eligibility, please complete a National Aging Program Information System (NAPIS) form and contact NEIAAA at 1-866-468-7887 or a Transit Operations Manager for more information.
Rides for Wellness Vouchers
RTA receives funding from the United Way of Dubuque Area Tri-States, to provide income-based transportation vouchers. For additional information and to apply, contact a Transit Operations Manager.
